- Newsletter sign-up — your email address when you subscribe to the Pupdate newsletter.

- IP address — logged by our hosting provider for security and diagnostics; not stored in analytics.

Information we do not collect
We do not collect payment information, social security numbers, government IDs, or sensitive health data. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To send the Pupdate newsletter to subscribers (email only; unsubscribe link in every email).

5. Data Retention
- Newsletter subscribers — retained until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics data — retained for 14 months in Google Analytics (default GA4 setting).
- Server logs — retained for 30 days then purged.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate data.
- Deletion — request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten).
- Opt-out of sale — we do not sell personal data, but you may opt out of personalized advertising via Google's Ad Settings.
- Newsletter unsubscribe — click the unsubscribe link in any Pupdate email.

7. Children's Privacy
PupProfiles is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
